As a dedicated organization reporting to the Ministry of the Attorney General, we uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity while championing public interest and safety. Here, innovation thrives, ideas flourish, and passion drives us to new heights of excellence. The Technology Regulation and iGaming Compliance Branch is seeking an iGaming Compliance Assurance Specialist (Sport and Event Betting Streams) to step into a pivotal role within our team. As Ontario continues to navigate the regulated, competitive internet gaming (iGaming) market, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) plays a crucial role in maintaining market and game integrity while ensuring consumer protection. This is an exciting opportunity to navigate complex and evolving challenges and contribute to shaping the future of iGaming regulation in Ontario. If you’re ready to take on this critical role and make a lasting impact, we encourage you to apply!
As an iGaming Compliance Assurance Specialist, you will play a central role in the development and execution of a sport and event betting integrity framework and will carry out strategic risk-based, outcomes-focused regulatory and compliance assurance activities per the iGaming compliance program. You will also assess clients’ controls in place to mitigate risk exposures for sport and event betting integrity in line with AGCO Standards and industry best practices, and support the development and execution of a sport and event betting integrity framework.
You will liaise with multiple Independent Integrity Monitors, Sports Governing Bodies, major and minor sports leagues, other gaming regulators, and law enforcement agencies. As a team member, you will contribute to the team’s culture, centered on accountability and trust, and embrace team diversity.
