  Job Posting: Part-Time Ignite Studio Assistant Location: Fishers Library – Ignite Studio, Hamilton East Public Library Schedule: See below (part-time/year-round, not seasonal) Pay: $14.78/hour Must be able to work the following schedule (4-week repeating cycles): * Cycle 1: Wed 4-8, Fri 9-3 * Cycle 2: Wed 2-8, Sat 10-6 * Cycle 3: Wed 12-8, Fri 9-3 * Cycle 4: Wed 4-8, Fri 9-3, Sat 2-6, Sun 12-6 Are you curious, creative, and passionate about helping others explore new ideas? Hamilton East Public Library is a seeking part-time Ignite Studio Assistant to join our team in the Ignite Studio at the Fishers Library. As an Ignite Studio Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on support for our innovative maker lab, helping guests navigate a wide range of creative tools and equipment while also assisting with programs, events, and customer service. This position will be posted internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: * Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to visitors using Ignite Studio’s tools, equipment, and resources. * Support and deliver in-house programs, community events, and outreach activities. * Help maintain equipment and maker supplies, troubleshoot basic issues, and offer guidance on creative projects. * Collect and record customer feedback and usage data to support Ignite’s ongoing development. * Assist patrons in locating resources and information throughout the library. * Support the Ignite Manager and team with administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned. We’re Looking for Someone Who: * Approaches work with curiosity, creativity, and a sense of humor. * Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. * Enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. * Can problem-solve and troubleshoot equipment confidently. * Is eager to learn and teach both high-tech and low-tech maker techniques. * Is adaptable and open to embracing new ideas (and occasional failure!) as part of the creative process. Qualifications: * High school degree or equivalent required. * Minimum six months of customer service experience. * Experience with maker equipment, technology instruction, or arts education is a plus.
