Job Summary As an Ignition Developer, you will design and develop applications on the Ignition platform to support APM, LMIS, MES, and CMMS solutions. You’ll build integrations with PLCs, OPC UA devices, and enterprise systems, while enabling effective reporting and manufacturing analytics. You Will Develop and customize Ignition applications using modules like Perspective, Vision, Reports, and Sepasoft. Analyze requirements and build applications aligned with Lucid templates and themes. Create reusable components and libraries for scalable development. Integrate Ignition with PLCs, OPC UA devices, SQL databases, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SAP, Salesforce). Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize system performance. Test, debug, and tune applications for reliability and performance. Collaborate with architects and engineers during deployment and configuration. Provide post-deployment support and maintain documentation. You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Ignition development and industrial automation. Proven experience with Ignition modules and SCADA/HMI systems. Strong understanding of industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus). Experience with SAP integrations, REST APIs, and SQL databases. Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL scripting. Hands-on experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs and HMIs. Strong knowledge of database concepts and query optimization.
