WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Using Ignition, you will design, develop and maintain innovative MES solutions, focusing on production tracking, scheduling, energy management and reporting
- The role involves working alongside cross-functional teams to configure and manage data historians, ensuring the seamless collection, storage and analysis of industrial data
- You will also develop and optimise SQL and time series databases to ensure secure, high-performance data storage for MES and historian systems
- The role involves working closely with automation engineers to integrate MES with PLCs, utilising PLC programming expertise to troubleshoot and enhance connectivity
- As a key link between IT and OT teams, you will drive the integration of MES and related systems, including ERP connections, ensuring it is secure and scalable
