Description

The International Group Program (IGP) is part of Manulife Financial and includes a global network of top life insurance companies in about 80 countries. Since 1967, IGP has provided employee benefits services like international pooling to multinational companies. Over 900 major global companies, including many from the Fortune 500, use IGP to offer benefits like retirement and risk coverage to their employees worldwide.
As part of a small and dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in preparing international (re)insurance proposals and annual reports for IGP’s Multinational Clients and their Advisors. The position involves frequent interaction with our International Network of Insurance Company Partners, as well as with our Multinational Clients, many of whom are well-known leaders in their respective industries.
This role is a high-level internal sales support and administration position within an international environment. After extensive training, you will support our Business Development - Pooling Team at IGP’s European Coordinating Office in Brussels (Belgium, Europe). Your contributions will be key in helping the team achieve their objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Financial Services / Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated passion for providing client-centric solutions
  • Propensity to work collaboratively, within team and with members of other teams
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably holds a master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields such as economics, finance, or mathematics, or has a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar sales support coordinating role.
  • Fluent in English (other European languages are considered an asset) as this role involves interaction with multinational corporate clients and our global Network Partners.
  • Has an analytical and open mind with a good feeling for numbers and the ability to interpret numerical data effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible in responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations
  • Self-motivated, organized and results-oriented
