POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a IIT Support Specialist at Galen College of Nursing, you will help campus leadership and the technology department provide local faculty, staff and students with quality customer service, support, tools, and training needed to meet their educational goals. This position is fora Tier 1 IT desktop support Technician with at least 2 years of experience that can handle the demand of being the primary technology service provider for the campus (with escalation support from Main Campus) via email, telephone, and remote desktop. The position requires excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communications skills, and the ability to follow directions well. The areas of support include but are not limited to: end-user assistance for all assigned software applications, support processes, maintenance of desktop/laptops, phones, basic network connectivity, user account management and permissions, audio/video, projectors, room and desktop video conferencing, and assisting the enterprise support team as necessary.
