Job Description About the job Reporting to the Kitchen Production Manager, you support daily kitchen operations by maintaining a clean work area, delivering high-quality food, and providing excellent customer service. You will manage Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) records, ensure proper First Expired, First Out (FEFO) freezer arrangement, monitor preparation levels, and maintain accurate Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) seafood tracking. Your assignment Assist in preparing meal ingredients and maintaining a clean, hygienic food preparation area. Ensure proper cleaning and sanitising of all food preparation areas according to established hygiene standards. Assist with unloading food supplies and checking stock inventory for accuracy. Actively practice First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and FEFO principles to maintain freshness and quality in food preparation. Maintain accurate HACCP documentation, including best before date records and preparation par-level monitoring for peak and non-peak periods. Adhere to ASC and MSC recording procedures to track certified seafood usage daily and ensure ASC/MSC products are not mixed with other seafood on shelving. Support kitchen operations according to established SOPs. Follow existing operating procedures and maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (Q.S.C.) standards to ensure food safety and hygiene. Contribute to store operations and ensure alignment with the Functional Commercial Review Standards. Your profile You are a team-player with strong organisation and time management skills. You are comfortable with handling basic food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. You are able to withstand prolonged hours of standing and work in a fast-paced food environment. You always maintain a high level of personal grooming and hygiene. You can commit to working on AM/PM shift, including weekends and public holidays.
