Special Education Teacher – K–2 Self-Contained (Autism Focus) Clarifi Staffing Solutions is excited to partner with a welcoming Illinois school district to bring on a passionate Special Education Teacher for a self-contained K–2 classroom serving students with autism and other developmental needs. This full-time, school-year position offers a chance to make a lasting impact by supporting the growth of young learners through individualized instruction and structured, evidence-based practices. In this position, you’ll design and deliver targeted instruction for a small group of students, focusing on academic, communication, and social-emotional development. You’ll create engaging lessons aligned with IEP goals and district standards while fostering a supportive classroom culture that promotes independence and confidence. Working alongside paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families, you’ll ensure each child receives the consistent support they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. About the Role: Utilize data-driven strategies to guide instruction and intervention. Provide individualized instruction for up to 10 students in a self-contained setting. Collaborate closely with school staff and caregivers to build cohesive support plans. Implement and monitor IEPs to ensure goals are met and progress is documented accurately. Promote positive behavior and social skill development through structured routines and proactive strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience working in a school setting and supporting mild to moderate learning needs is preferred.
