Role Title: Integrated Logistic Support Officer - Senior Advisor - L3 Role Description: • The ILS Advisor position will work within the AIR6500 Program ILS team to support delivery of the Joint Air Battle Management System and a Medium Range Ground Based Air Defence Capability. • This position must be able to access ITAR/US Export Technology Control, and as such cannot be from, have strong ties to, or be a dual citizen of a proscribed/prohibited Tier 1 or Tier 2 country. • Will need to possess a flexible approach and work collaboratively with the Commonwealth, stakeholders and other service providers. • Provide support to the Project team and undertake the activities and deliverables including: • Working to the Program System of Systems (SoS) ILS Manager, provide support and mentoring to the AIR6500 Program GFM Manager and GFM team. • As delegated, coordinate ILS support to AIR6500 series projects; oversee and contribute to the GFM Plan and tracking tool to ensure timely delivery of GFM. • Ensure the utility of the GFM Register and GFM Tool (if applicable) to satisfy project and program goals. • Develop and contribute to ILS documentation, modernise the GFM Management plan and the procedures for the management, monitoring and control of GFM. • Liaise with Accountable authorities who have ownership of the GFM in accordance with the approved GFM Management Plan. • Build and maintain dynamic working relationships with the engineering team, co-ordinate identification and resolution of engineering assurance issues around the identification, acquisition and delivery of GFM. • Identify and raise risks, issues and opportunities to improve the management and delivery of GFM; to the GFM Manager and SoS ILS Manager. • Confirm compliance with Security, Export Control, Intellectual Property and Commercial Sensitivity requirements. • Enhance and support responsiveness to changes in GFM Program and individual Project requirements • Liaise with other Work Groups as required to facilitate consistent implementation and remove duplication on interdependent activities. Essential Requirements: • Previous experience within the ADF Capability Life Cycle/Defence Capability Model. • Previous Government Procurement, more specifically Defence procurement. • Stakeholder Management for both internal and external stakeholders. • Previous experience working in a GFM or ILS management capacity.
