Description

1. Financial Examine and evaluate alternate viable sources to ensure lowest cost advantage in IT security equipment procurement, without any compromise on the quality Provide detailed IT security service costs for effective cost management in delivering IT security services Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization 2. Customer Plan for interfacing with all stakeholders including business functions, technology functions, vendors and other internal teams to ensure adequate level of security in existing technology deployments and new technology initiatives Build and deploy effective protection, data security and information security management processes though external vendors using activities like firewall configuration, log analysis and ensure their timely license renewals, upgradations, etc. Conduct periodic security audits in coordination with other functional heads Establish robust Risk Management and vendor governance frameworks in line with IT Security compliances by coordinating with Internal Audit and other functional heads Direct DCBL leaders, General Managers and Engineering teams in prioritizing roadmap items to balance security and business risks 3. Operations Ensure initiatives for automation of IT security using advanced technologies like more sophisticated firewalls, secure networks, etc. Keep abreast with major happenings, upgrades, developments in the IT Security frameworks and regulations, as well as on threats affecting the overall security architecture Guide the organization on the appropriate information system services, mechanisms, technologies and features to satisfy security policies and requirements in key areas including data governance, enterprise architecture etc. Establish controls to enable the business efficiently, cost effectively and remain compliant with the best practices Maintain documentation of compliance activities such as complaints received or investigation outcomes Document the enterprise wide security control processes and measures to make them available for reference as and when required Implementation of ISMS conforming to ISO 27001:2013 at Manufacturing Units/ Zonal Offices. Co-ordinate Certification Audits with external Certifying agencies. Schedule, Monitor the audits, and further close audit observations/non-conformities in due time As line manager of the information management staff, take responsibility for recruitment, development of workplans, reviewing of progress and appraisals Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 4. Self/ Team Development Responsible for ISMS Awareness Training, Training of Internal Audits and ISO 27001 Standard Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team�s development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Chart out a clear succession plan; identify and direct reports for higher responsibilities Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
