IMAGE PROCESSING ENGINEER [MFD] (F/M/D)

As we would like to expand our development team at MEON Functional Diagnostics, we are looking for an Image Processing Engineer (w/m/d) who likes the challenges to develop a complex medical device.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Ideally you have professional experience in image processing and deep learning
  • Practical experience in processing fluorescence microscopic images
  • Basic knowledge in C++
  • In addition, knowledge of agile product development is advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Your daily work consists of the development and optimization of robust image processing algorithms for fluorescence microscopy images of biological samples, taking into account limited hardware resources
  • Creating image processing solutions for an innovative near-patient IVD analysis system
  • Participation in the entire development process (analysis, SW architecture, design, implementation, documentation and verification)
  • In short feedback cycles, you regularly exchange ideas with colleagues from life sciences, as well as with hardware and software development
