The Group Our group develops image sensors that are integrated into the cameras of all leading smartphone brands. Our Security FW team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our next-generation image sensors. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Firmware Team Lead for the Security FW team. What will you do? Lead a team designing and developing security features and secure boot firmware for our cutting-edge image sensors. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of highly skilled embedded engineers. Foster a productive and collaborative environment, empowering team members to excel. You'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborate closely with managers and engineers from teams such as Security Architecture, Digital Design, Digital Verification, FW Verification and FAEs. Develop firmware in C on embedded processors with resource constraints. Requirements 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams. 5+ years of experience in firmware or embedded software development. Proficient in C programming, with a demonstrated ability to write efficient code optimized for resource-constrained hardware. B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Ability to understand the full system requirements, constraints and limitations. Capability to quickly grasp new fields and technologies. Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, including written and verbal communication in English. Advantages: Experience with Secure boot, Security countermeasure development and threat modeling for embedded systems. Experience in firmware development on hardware emulators such as FPGA and Cadence Palladium. Experience with Arm Cortex-based CPUs.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of embedded engineers in designing and developing security features and secure boot firmware for image sensors. Manage project planning and execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams including architecture, design, and verification.
