We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the new team offering MRI and CT services. The post is based in our new Wembley community diagnostic centre, helping to supporting a diverse range of diagnostic procedures in CT and MRI.
The role will involve working with the Modality Lead Radiographer and radiographers across both the MRI and CT departments to provide a 5 star service for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust patients. The department provides out-patient services only and initially will 7 days a week. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure. The job will require you to assist with clerical needs of the unit, and will be expected to work independently and manage and prioritise their workload. This role needs a flexible approach to work and will involve evening and weekend working within contracted hours.
To assist and support the professional staff within the Imaging Directorate
To maintain a high standard of patient care by carrying out assigned tasks
To provide an efficient and reliable system for throughput of patients ensuring that the activity and needs of the unit are achieved
To overseeing training of junior imaging assistants
