Key Responsibilities Assist with the acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of imaging data using complex imaging equipment, following established protocols and under the supervision of a Radiologist or Technologist. Perform daily equipment inspections, warm-ups, and quality control procedures under technologist supervision. Support Radiologists and Technologists with contrast setup (note: students will not load or prime injectors). Obtain high-quality images while adhering to safety standards and departmental protocols. Assist with patient positioning and exam performance (students will never hold detectors or patients for radiation procedures). Arrive patients, track exams, scan scripts, and assist with scheduling using Radiology Information Systems. Assist Radiologists and Technologists during modality-specific exams. Maintain clinical proficiency for all completed competencies and assigned equipment skills. Must be an active 2nd year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school.
