Work Schedule: Daylight and evening hours available – we will work with your school schedule! One weekend (Saturday and Sunday hours) is required every 4th week. Weekday hours and short shifts also available! No on-call hours or holidays required! The Diagnostic Radiology department is a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where Student Techs can gain valuable, hands-on trauma experience! This position is designed for Imaging students to expand their skills and ready them for the workforce – join us today! Responsibilities: Complete procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist or Technologist. Assist with positioning and performing exams. May utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data. May perform daily equipment inspections, warm up procedures, and follow Quality Control Program under supervision of a Technologist. Assist Radiologist and Technologist setting up contrast. However, will never be responsible for loading or priming the injector. Follow radiation safety standards and protocols. Arrive patients, track exams, scan scripts, and schedule exams in the Radiology Information Systems. Must be an active 2nd-year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school. Radiology students preferred.
