See multiple UPMC Children’s Hospital facilities! Work with and learn from a great team of highly skilled Technologists! Work Schedule: Evenings and weekends available to work around your class schedule! Two weekend shifts per month required. NO overnights, holidays, or on-call! Will visit satellite and Express Care locations, as well as rotate through main campus in Lawrenceville! Incorporate your education directly with hands-on pediatric training with our Diagnostic Radiology team! This position is designed for Imaging students to expand their skills and ready them for the workforce – join us today! Responsibilities: Assist Radiologists and Technologists with exams. Greet patients, track exams, scan scripts, and schedule exams. Utilize imaging equipment under the supervision of a Radiologist or Technologist. Assist Radiologists and Technologists setting up contrast, however, will never be responsible for loading or priming the injector. Learn and follow radiation safety standards and protocols. Must be an active 2nd year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
