Description As an Imaging Specialist, you will perform scans, indexing documents, billing and file requests. You will assist with opening and distributing mail and faxes. You’ll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues in other departments to help our customers and the families we serve together. Your responsibilities will include: Prepares documents for scanning by removing staples, checking for policy numbers, inserting barcodes, tape documents and place documents in designated order. Receives, opens, sorts, matches and distributes incoming mail to the scanner area and other departments. Operates scanner and scans documents into workflow. Index scanned documents by 10-key and alpha, entering in main index number to auto-fill appropriate fields. Performs quality control on all scanned documents, checks for legibility, verifies document count, and verifies index information. Aids and assists in locating documents, files and performs other office support tasks as requested. Research returned mail, readdress and rese Requirements Equivalent to high school degree 1+ years of experience in an office environment preferred. 10-key and alpha skills needed with an emphasis on accuracy.
