We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our imaging team as an Imaging Technician. Our company is seeking an Imaging Technician for 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm). This individual will then help assist in the setup, maintain, and troubleshoot digital imaging equipment running in-line on commercial offset presses for functions such as ink jetting programmed mailing addresses, letters, numbers, barcodes and graphics to include colored images, logos and maps in-line on high-speed web applications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with production personnel to determine variable imaging capabilities and job-specific requirements for press runs. Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot variable imaging equipment and related software, including Kodak 6240, S10, DH91, and Fuji Samba imaging systems. Communicate effectively with team members and management to identify, anticipate, and resolve potential imaging issues. Recommend and implement viable alternative solutions to ensure production efficiency and minimize downtime. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of all imaging equipment and related components in accordance with SG360° processes and procedures. Accurately record time and production results while maintaining dependable attendance, including overtime, weekend work, and schedule adjustments as business needs require. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by developing technical skills, recommending process enhancements, and collaborating effectively with other departments. Adhere to established work procedures and comply with all company policies, including safety and security requirements. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Requirements Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements 2-year electronic technical/associates degree or military equivalent. Technical knowledge of Kodak 6240, S10, DH91 & Fuji Samba imagers and related controller software. Great verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with inkjet imaging systems and knowledge of postal regulation for Standard Mail per USPS specifications a definite plus. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Full motion/motor skills in all body parts. Ability to stand or walk for entire shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. May be exposed to hot/humid and/or dusty work environment. May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors. SG360° is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
