Growing together. SUMMARY Under the direction of the department supervisor or designee, provides direct support to imaging technologists. Interviews patients and provides education about imaging processes and procedures. Positions patients for imaging exams. Restores imaging studies for follow up patients. Provides general organization of the imaging area. Promotes effective working relationships to meet the goals and objectives of the Imaging Center. Provides back-up coverage for other support staff. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. BCLS (CPR) preferred. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty. EXPERIENCE Prior experience in an Advanced Imaging Center preferred. Computer experience required. SKILLS Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills required.
