WHAT WE NEEDHigh-tech, hands-on imaging professionalWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORX-rays, MRIs, CT scans… each of these images are important diagnostic tools for physicians. Those physicians rely on experts preparing and documenting those images. They require detail-oriented technologists who also treat their patients with compassion and understanding. It’s about more than just the right image, it’s about making the process as comfortable as possible for each and every patient. Are you trained in imaging technology procedures? Can you accurately document patient information and clinical details? Are you compassionate? Do you enjoy working in a high-tech, hands-on environment? We have just the job for you.WHAT YOU WILL DO - Clean, maintain, and restock examination and inventory rooms. - Collaborate on patient medical issues with the physician to determine protocol and procedure. - Complete all imaging exams and procedures providing the most optimal images for review; process and evaluate according to policy and protocol. - Confirm patient identity. - Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results. - Review and update patient documentation in EMR and PACS. - Perform venipunctures when applicable, utilizing universal precautions while administering contrast media. - Practice established safety guidelines and utilize ALARA radiation reduction tools and techniques. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED - Prior Radiology experience. - Analyze and synthesize complex quantitative information. Basic knowledge of computer software, hardware, and communication devices to perform tasks. - Basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. - Critically evaluate and analyze information in written materials. - Customer service skills. - Effectively communicate verbally and in writing. - Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. - Knowledge of Imaging Procedures. - Maintain composure, even in very difficult situations. - Patient handling techniques. - Professional regulation and facility/program accreditation Qualifications - Preferred Associate’s Degree - Required Certificate - 1 year Radiology Required - Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - State Radiographer Operator License - .
