Job Title: IMEC Assignee Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and technically proficient EUV lithographer to support the on- going development and continuous improvement of innovative photoresist materials for the Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) lithography market being o@ered by Irresistible Materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and hands-on experience in a cleanroom/semiconductor fabrication environment, and a collaborative working style. This role involves both independent material evaluation and also clear communication with internal teams and external partners. You will be a member of Irresistible Materials' EUV Lithography team, joining the existing Irresistible Materials assignee at imec based in Leuven, Belgium, responsible for running lithography experiments to test out our various resist formulations against key requirements from our customers and partners, undertaking metrology, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements needed, using our processing and development of EUV patterning materials, tackling impactful projects within the timelines of global customers and partners. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out experiments in imec’s high-tech cleanroom, using the most advanced EUV lithography equipment. • Facilitate R&D activities for MTR™ photoresist in collaboration with imec and imec’s patterning material suppliers. • Assist and drive Joint Development Projects (JDP’s) with various partners to improve MTR™ photoresist performance. • Contribute to advanced process development that is critical to the success of our programs and projects. • Work e@ectively with material and equipment suppliers to identify issues, propose and evaluate material and process modification to meet needs and goals. • Develop innovative solutions to challenging problems utilizing your academic background, work experience, and various tools/methods. • Collaborate with imec experts on material characterization • Undertake data analysis, interpretation of results and building understanding • Report and present the key findings to our various industry partners and colleagues. • Stay abreast of all recent developments in the field, by studying literature, interacting with your colleagues, and building up an industry network. • Travel internationally, as necessary to support job responsibilities. • Identify ideas which can be converted to potential patent filings, give presentations at conferences, and write articles for scientific and technical journals.
