Description

JOB TITLE - MOCK OSCE EXAMINER & CONTRIBUTOR

MedSckool Reviews is hosting a full-scale, 12-station OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in preparation for the Fall NAC OSCE and we’re looking to hire IMGs and ITPs to serve as Mock Examiners for this important one-day event!
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is familiar with the NAC OSCE and wants to contribute to helping other IMGs prepare for success, while gaining insight into what it’s like on the other side of the table.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Play the role of an OSCE examiner for the purpose of interacting with medical students and other international medical graduates to hone their clinical skills and bedside manners in our upcoming FALL MOCK EXAM.
The Canadian medical licensing examinations require all international medical graduates to clear certain practical OSCE (Objective-Structured-Clinical-Examinations)-style examinations so if you’re reading and possibly applying for this position, it means you have completed this exam already!
As a standardized examiner, your primary responsibility is to accurately evaluate student performance in history taking, physical exam, spoken English proficiency, and communication skills or other metrics on an assigned station.

Responsibilities
  • Observe and evaluate medical candidates performing clinical tasks during the mock OSCE
  • Use a provided marking scheme to grade performance and professionalism
  • Collaborate with the actor playing the patient at the station
  • Provide clear, constructive, and supportive feedback to candidates after each round
  • Follow a structured case briefing (provided the morning of the exam)
  • Participate in a short training session before the event begins.
