Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this new role, Information Management & Information Technology Project Manager, based in Western Canada,you will drive the planning and delivery of all Information Management & Information Technology (IMIT) workstreams on complex building projects such as healthcare, institutional, and commercial. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and quality while steering a multidisciplinary team of IT, AV, security, and electrical designers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Act as the single point of contact for all IMIT matters from pursuit through close-out, including AV, ESS, and Telecom practices.
  • Define project charters, budgets, schedules, and risk registers; report KPIs to executives and clients.
  • Coordinate design integration of networks, IoT, BMS, AV, wireless, nurse-call, and security systems with electrical and architectural teams.
  • Lead requirements workshops and translate user needs into technical specifications.
  • Manage procurement, vendor selection, and factory witness testing.
  • Oversee construction administration, commissioning, and handover.
  • Champion BIM, ISO 19650 data standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Mentor junior staff and support business development proposals.
