JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an RCIC to play a key role within our Immigration services department. This dynamic role involves setting strategy and overseeing temporary, economic, corporate, and family-class immigration applications while providing expert guidance to both team members and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • RCIC in good standing with CICC
  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an immigration consultant managing a steady volume of applications on an annual basis
  • Experience in confidently handling temporary, economic, corporate, and family-class applications
  • A healthy obsession with attention to detail
  • Engaging interpersonal skills, a commitment to teamwork, and empathy for the human experience of immigration
  • Excellent communication and client service skills – a cheerful, welcoming and calming demeanor
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex matters in simple and straightforward terms combined with the willingness and ability to have honest, sometimes difficult, conversations with clients. We do not peddle false hope.
  • Professional levels of English fluency are mandatory. Fluency in other additional languages will be considered an asset.
  • A commitment to following systems, and established procedures to enhance team synergy and reduce the possibility of errors
  • The demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while efficiently navigating your workload
Responsibilities
  • Establish immigration strategies to meet the immigration goals of our clients, and co-ordinate the execution of that strategy within our larger team.
  • Oversee the preparation of economic, corporate, and family-class immigration applications, taking professional responsibility for the quality of the file.
  • Advocate effectively with government bodies on behalf of clients to achieve equitable outcomes.
  • Continuously seek to remain up to date with Canadian immigration laws, policies, and regulations within our practice areas.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and government regulations in all aspects of your responsibilities.
  • Operate efficiently and cheerfully while effectively balancing priorities in a fast- paced environment.
  • Embody the corporate value of win-win-win. As much as possible, every strategy we pursue should aim to be a win for the client, a win for the country and a win for the company.
