REQUIREMENTS

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 1–3 years PQE in immigration law
  • Experience in both business and personal immigration matters
  • Strong knowledge of UK immigration rules, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience to take on a varied caseload, develop specialist expertise, and work closely with experienced practitioners. You will handle complex immigration cases, manage client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a full caseload of immigration matters, including:
  • Business immigration: Sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker visas, Global Business Mobility, Innovator Founder visas, and related compliance work
  • Personal immigration: Spouse/partner visas, ILR applications, visitor visas, nationality and citizenship, family reunification, asylum, and human rights cases
  • Provide high-quality legal advice tailored to each client’s needs
  • Prepare and submit applications, witness statements, and appeal bundles
  • Represent clients at tribunals and hearings where necessary
  • Keep up to date with UK immigration rules, case law, and Home Office guidance
  • Maintain accurate, compliant case files in line with SRA and firm standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service
