Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with students/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.
The Registered Nurse will assist the Public Health Unit’s Immunisation Coordinator with the management of the NSW Adolescent School Based Immunisation Program in SWSLHD, ensuring the service is conducted in line with Health Protection NSW protocols, including scheduling of schools, rostering staff, provision of information to schools and parents, team leading school clinics, analysing coverage and data management.
Provide high quality clinical immunisation advice to immunisation providers and members of the public.
