Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes immunization forms obtained by upload, e-mail, or mail by checking the record for proper information, entering information into the database, and maintaining copies of the forms. Oversight of student compliance to State and University immunization requirements for over 5,000 students, and visiting students, all with differing requirements Notifies students when further immunizations are needed via secure patient portal. Responsible for data entry and maintenance of immunization medical Will work closely with Immunization coordinators and Immunization nurses Communicate with students regarding immunization compliance status. Familiar with Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services Assist new and returning students with understanding immunization requirements. Contacts/liaisons outside of the University Assist students, parents and visitors with immunization related questions and issues: Oversee and generate immunization information, correspondence, and automated immunization notifications. Respond to group email box immunization inquiries. Oversee the completion of data input and filing of immunization documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Six (6) months of experience related to the above-described duties. NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
