This is a fixed term maternity cover to lead the generation and management of Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects across the University of Liverpool. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help deliver the University’s research and Knowledge Exchange (KE) ambitions through providing an end-to-end service to ensure the successful management and delivery of multiple KTP projects.
There will be a balance of both internal and external facing aspects of the role, involving engagement with senior business stakeholders and both academic and professional services at all levels within the University, as well as with intermediaries and funding organisations.
The role will be expected to work collaboratively on projects across the University¿s three Faculties (Health and Life Sciences, Science and Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences). You will be part of the Research, Partnerships and Innovation (RPI) Directorate and will report to the Head of Partnership Development. You will be expected to work independently with a high level of autonomy for decision making.
Applicants for this vacancy should have relevant experience working with the KTP scheme and relevant partnership development and project management experience.
This vacancy is fixed term from 1 August 2025 for up to 1 year to cover a period of maternity leave.
