EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Education Level: Bachelor’s, advanced degree or other post-graduate or certification work in evaluation, nonprofit management, youth development or related field a plus, but not required.
Years of Related Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in data support, evaluation, or reporting focused role.
Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in Salesforce data management and reporting, including the ability to extract, clean, and analyze data; Exceptional skills with MS Office products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Intermediate Statistical Analysis Software (SPSS preferred, SAS/STATA considered); Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain dashboards and findings to practitioners; Excellent project management experience; Subject matter expertise in mentoring or positive youth development.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Impact Data Specialist advances Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) capacity to translate program and impact data into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy, strengthen performance, and inspire investment across its national network of 200+ Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) agencies. This position helps build dashboards, maintain data products, and create a range of reporting tools that allow teams to understand performance, communicate progress, and drive continuous improvement. They will also support internal users in understanding and interpreting data through documentation, training, and helpdesk-style assistance.
With a strong focus on technical accuracy and a collaborative approach, the Specialist also supports data access and training, helping internal teams and agency staff interpret data and integrate into daily practice to improve outcomes for youth. This position is ideal for someone with strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and communication, who thrives in a mission-driven environment and enjoys translating data into usable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
Location: Continental United States (100% Remote)
FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt
