Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO This is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping H&M Group’s climate strategy and drive impactful change across our organization globally. In this role, you will own the strategy for climate impact, play a key role in driving our sustainability initiatives and manage projects to promote environmental responsibility across our organization. In this role you will join the Group Sustainability team, working with talented colleagues coming together from across the company towards realising our net-zero target by 2040. This will not only give you the opportunity to join one of the industry’s leading sustainability departments but also to drive one of the most fundamental shifts in our strategy development. You will work with stakeholders across the group and play an important role in driving the agenda where you will have the chance to create positive impact for people and planet as well as contribute to the success of our business. How you will make an impact and contribute to our ambitious agenda: Be part of the development and implementation of our climate strategy Co-drive integration plans for our climate strategy into key functions and brands Drive activities aiming at sharpening and/or executing our strategy Represent H&M Group externally as one of the key voices for our climate strategy Support external reporting of our progress Communicate our plans, progress, and learnings to both external and internal stakeholders WHO YOU ARE We are looking for people with… Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration or related field 5+ years experience working in sustainability strategy, governance, compliance related to climate impact areas Strong understanding of sustainability and it’s business implications, with proven ability to set strategy and ensure compliance Excellent knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulations including GHGP, SBTi ESRS, HREDD, GRC, and DMA Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CoPilot And people who are… Exceptional communicator with the ability to represent Skilled at building alignment across brands and functions, creating shared priorities and direction Able to lead and steer impact areas end-to-end, achieving results through effective stakeholder coordination A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and risk-based decision-making skills A collaborative leader with the ability to drive complex initiatives and influence outcomes Passionate about driving change for a more sustainable fashion industry ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a full-time permanent position based in Stockholm.
