The primary purpose of this role is to administer claims for Impairment Benefits (IB) in accordance with the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, the Accident Compensation Act 1985, and WorkSafe’s guidelines, protocols and the objectives of the scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the IB Teams financial and service objectives by achieving your individual targets
  • Ensure the administration of IB claims are managed in accordance with the relevant legislation, guidelines, protocols and in accordance with the objectives of the scheme
  • Ensure communication with the key stakeholders is timely, empathetic, and accurate
  • Maintain internal relationships and demonstrate teamwork and commitment to solving operational issues within and across teams
  • Contribute ideas that may improve process and work efficiency and actively participate in any discussions that involve workplace improvement
  • Be responsible for your own improvement ensuring your commitment to improving in any identified developmental areas
  • Contribute to the culture of the team by demonstrating the behaviours expected in fostering team engagement
