JOB SUMMARY Provides oversight and management of Import Brokerage staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and workflow coordination. Well-versed in U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, ensures full compliance with federal regulations, trade laws, and internal company policies and procedures. Manages the timely and accurate processing of import documentation, classification, valuation, and entry filings. Serves as a liaison with customers to resolve issues, minimize delays, and maintain high levels of customer service and regulatory integrity. Experience with CargoWise software is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed Customs Broker and be willing to qualify the branch.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience.
  • Demonstrated mentoring and leadership capability.
  • Excellent communication and emotional intelligence relating with both team members and customers.
  • PGA process for Medical Device, Food items etc.
  • FTZ, Inbond process is desired
  • Operation background to handle air / ocean import arrangement.
  • Above average skills with MS OFFICE SUITE: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven understanding of the Customs entry process requirements and flow.
  • Customer-focused, can-do and learn attitude.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures specific to a clients
  • Experience with CargoWise software is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position is in an indoor, office environment, requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, operate typical office equipment which requires seeing and the use of a keyboard.
