Description
Reporting to the Manager Policy, the Implementation Advisor provides objective analysis and advice on policy initiatives and Requests for Decision to cabinet with a special focus on GN's obligations to implement the Nunavut Agreement. Provides advice and support to managers of all departments on programs, policy, planning and legislative initiatives; and ensures that advice to cabinet is consistent with the GN's goals, objectives, priorities and management principles. The position also monitors compliance with Cabinet and the Financial Management Board direction and governing authorities such as legislation, regulations, policies, and government mandate.
Responsibilities
The Implementation Advisor provides analysis and advice on policy initiatives and ensures compliance with governing authorities. They support managers across departments on various initiatives consistent with the GN's goals.
