Responsibilities

The Department of Conservation is the lead agency Te Mana o te Taiao Aotearoa New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy 2020. As Implementation and Governance Analyst, you will be at the heart of coordinating efforts across central and regional government toward the Strategy’s 2050 outcomes.

Working with a small and agile team, you will:

  • Provide secretariat support to cross-agency governance and working groups
  • Write meeting agendas, status reports, and key messages
  • Coordinate tasks across teams and maintain project documentation
  • Support advice to the Minister and senior leaders on ANZBS implementation
  • Represent DOC and build effective relationships with stakeholders
