The Retail Implementation and Change Manager (I&C Manager) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of new projects and processes that enhance Primark’s store operating model. The I&C Manager will be responsible for an allocated group of markets. The role will across Group Retail Operations and other Central Functions to control and coordinate the Implementation & Change plan for each of these allocated markets. The I&C Manager partners with the Country Retail Operations Manager, The Country Leader and the wider Country Leadership team to ensure readiness, resourcing and training is in place to plan, deliver and embed changes to the Store Operating Model.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Work with business owners of projects across Retail and other central functions to understand the proposed changes, create a plan and timeline for these changes and take responsibility for their implementation.
  • Carry out regular updates with your allocated markets to ensure clarity and alignment exists between the market and their activity plan and understand the pain points the Country is experiencing, reflecting those in the plan.
  • Maintain a multi-year Implementation overview for each market ensuring transparency of this with the Country Leadership team.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Owners and Retail Project Leads to align timelines and ensure these are reflected in the overall Group Project & Implementation plan.
  • Prepare an implementation plan using the Retail Implementation Framework for each project in each market, identifying the best approach for implementation on a market by market basis.
  • Provide support and follow up for all Implementation leads in market once they are appointed to ensure they are consistently delivering on the goals of the project.

  • Third Level Qualification – Degree or equivalent
  • Multi-year experience as a Store Manager.
  • Has experience working across International markets
  • Experienced in creating training and process documentation and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete training of colleagues across Primark stores and markets and comfort in transferring knowledge at both a conceptual and practical level.
  • Show flexibility in working location; travel within Europe may be required; and the role may also require occasional travel further afiel
