Description
About Canals Canals is a bootstrapped, profitable startup transforming wholesale distribution — a trillion-dollar industry — with AI. Our platform integrates seamlessly with the systems distributors already use, automating critical workflows and reducing failure points in moving physical goods across the globe. We’re a 55-person, fully remote team operating at millions in ARR and growing rapidly — all without outside funding. The Opportunity We’re hiring Implementation Engineers (ERP Integrations) to help customers connect their ERP systems — including Eclipse, P21, and Infor — with Canals. You’ll play a central role in onboarding and implementation: configuring integrations, validating data flows, and becoming an expert in how Canals interacts with distributor ERPs. You’ll support customers both pre-sale and post-sale, joining technical discovery calls when ERP-specific guidance is needed and owning the hands-on integration work once a customer signs. This is a technical, customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how systems communicate and wants to build deep expertise in the ERP ecosystem. What You’ll Do Implement integrations between Canals and integration partners, including ERPs (Eclipse, P21, Infor), using standardized templates and API credentials Become an ERP subject-matter expert, understanding how each system handles data, access, authentication, and configuration. Join pre-sale discovery calls to evaluate feasibility and answer ERP-specific technical questions. Lead post-sale integration work: collect access details, configure endpoints, test connectivity, and validate end-to-end data flow. Troubleshoot integration issues, escalating to the Lead Support Engineer or Engineering when needed. Participate in customer onboarding and go-live calls as the technical owner of the integration process. Document integration steps, ERP nuances, and repeatable best practices for internal and customer use. Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure each integration goes live smoothly. Occasionally cover on support (Zendesk) as needed. What You’ll Bring 2–4 years in a technical implementation, technical support, integrations, or customer engineering role at a SaaS company. Excitement to work directly with customers, managing implementations and troubleshooting integration issues. Familiarity with APIs, REST endpoints, authentication methods, and JSON payloads. Experience with ERPs or a strong desire to learn systems like Eclipse, P21, and Infor in depth. Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users. Excellent organization and project management abilities. Comfort working in a fast-moving, fully remote environment with high ownership. English proficiency required; Spanish or Portuguese a plus. Why Join Canals Bootstrapped & profitable: Stability and autonomy — no fundraising distractions or shifting investor goals. High impact: You’ll directly shape how distributors implement and scale AI across their operations. Collaborative culture: Work with engineers, CSMs, and product leaders solving real industry problems. Remote-first flexibility: Work anywhere in North or South America. Product-market fit: Customers love what we’ve built — and growth is accelerating. Tight-knit, low-ego team: Join a group of builders passionate about excellence.
