Job Title Implementation Manager - Aviation Summary As Implementation Manager - Aviation, you’ll partner with the Project Manager to deliver impactful airport IT solutions. You’ll drive end-to-end delivery of customer-facing projects—software, hardware, testing, and go-live—while building strong relationships across all levels of the client organization. You’ll bring advanced product knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving skills to implement Amadeus Airport Management solutions, ensuring usability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Leadership Create and manage implementation plans with the Project Manager; Own technical issues through resolution and provide clear status updates; Advise customers on upgrades, installations, and architecture; Represent technical expertise in internal/external meetings and pre-sales demos. Technical Lead customer testing phases (UAT, SIT, ORAT); Gather and document functional/technical requirements; Configure and deliver airport management systems; Support SDLC teams and contribute to design solutions; Ensure quality through unit and integration testing; assist operations during cutovers. About the ideal candidate: Extensive experience working on Airports and/or Airlines Projects with respect to Airport Management Systems; Business and IT Operations understanding of the Airport business processes, Airport IT, Ground Handlers, Airlines and Travel industry; Software development/solution design background is nice to have; Fluent in English; Used to work effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures to accomplish business objectives, valuing and gaining benefit from the diversity of ideas and perspectives in a multi-cultural environment; Discusses needed change with a view to the future, creates commitment and enthusiasm towards the goal and actively anticipates / manages resistance. Ability to obtain a passport and agree to travel domestically and internationally as required to support the job requirements.
