Jeppesen is seeking a highly motivated customer-facing Implementation Program Manager (non-management position) reporting to the regional Manager of Crew Implementation in the Singapore location.
Our department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of our Airline Operations and Resource Planning solutions to commercial airline customers. As the selected candidate, you will successfully manage multiple, complex customer software implementation programs and projects across the Asia Pacific region through effective planning, scheduling and controlling. Travel is expected, both between company offices globally, as well as to various customer locations.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees program or multiple projects’ on-time delivery, profitability, and client value. Ensures project teams are executing as planned by monitoring high-level progress and major deliveries. Determines options and appropriate actions to ensure project performance.
  • Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative interpersonal working relationships with clients on management and executive level, and interacts as the primary customer contact on frequent basis. Leads and participates in internal and external steering committees.
  • Facilitates communication of project/program health and status with project teams, stakeholders, and sponsors, and reports to or consults with senior and executive level management (internal and external).
  • Serves as representative and external spokesperson for the company on highly significant matters relating to contractual obligations, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and participates in risk, issue and opportunity identification and mitigation and escalates to program leadership when assistance is required to remove road blocks.
  • Provides motivation, leadership and mentors project team members. Provides feedback and performance assessments to appropriate senior management in a timely manner, and addresses and helps resolve conflict among program/project teams or team members.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal learning and development. Seeking feedback and proactively improving skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data to develop conclusions and recommendations.
  • First escalation point for the project manager. Acts as speaking partner and provides advice to the project manager.
  • Recognized as an expert within the company and consultant to management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading projects or programs
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in complex software project/program management, implementation, configuration, and delivery.
  • Minimum of 7 years working with external clients.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills (e.g., writing, presentation)
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Administration, Science & Technology or equivalent
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, define, and manage services deployment opportunities, and drive efficiencies of customer success engagements / deployments through application of best practices.
  • Experience in the Aviation Industry, Airline Operations or Jeppesen Solutions (especially in Crew & Operations Management solutions), is highly beneficial.
  • Minimum of 15 or more years’ of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
