ACTIVE Network is seeking a driven, self-motivated Implementation Specialist to deliver implementation and technical services across ACTIVE’s software platforms. Services will be delivered across market segments and include planning, testing, training and deployment activities necessary to ensure clients are up and running successfully. The position works directly with our clients remotely and onsite throughout North America.

• 2+ years of software deployment experience is an asset
• Business experience in one or more of the following markets is an asset: Government, Parks and Recreation, Education, Not for Profit, Endurance, Sports.
• Technical experience with computer and network architecture, database schematics andSQL. Certifications or professional designations in this area are an asset.
• Experience with ACTIVE’s software solutions are an asset
• Understand and communicate accounting best practices

• Conduct functional planning and scoping sessions with ACTIVE and client project stakeholders
• Design and implement hardware, software, and data integration solutions with customers that satisfy their business needs
• Coordinate all day-to-day details for implementations
• Develop and manage technology deployment strategies
• Develop and deploy end user training plan applicable
• Work with Project Manager or Project Coordinator to execute implementations according to plan
• Work with Technical Consultants to coordinate functional requirements with deliverables
• Work with Support Analysts to facilitate handoff as project closes
