Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles.
  • Experience with ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Proven ability to lead projects or serve as a solution architect.
  • Experience working in large, publicly traded organizations (revenue of $100M+).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, ASPE, and other accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and maintaining SOPs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with system conversions or ERP migrations.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, including amalgamations.
  • CPA designation.
  • Experience with IFS Cloud or similar ERP platforms.
  • Background in data-focused roles within ERP implementations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver effective, value-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate and support seamless change management processes during ERP transitions.
  • Conduct data mapping to align source data with ERP system requirements, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist business units with financial data migration in accordance with accounting standards such as ASPE.
  • Identify process gaps and support super users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to cutover planning and execution activities.
  • Provide training and support to end users to ensure successful ERP adoption.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to gather and analyze requirements and align ERP solutions with business processes.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed work instructions to support ERP processes.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, demonstrating professionalism and best practices.
