The Opportunity This position is a remote based position for in the Abbott Point of Care, Diagnostics Division. Abbott Point of Care develops, manufactures and markets critical medical diagnostic and data management products for rapid blood analysis. The i-STAT System is an advanced, portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time, lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making. The i-STAT System has the industry’s most comprehensive menu of tests in a single, with-patient platform, including tests for blood gases, electrolytes, chemistries, coagulation, hematology, glucose, and cardiac markers. Abbott Point of Care has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS). The ISS will be a part of a dynamic field support service team that is responsible for driving the successful implementation and verification of our products within assigned geographical regions. Key responsibilities will include collaborating with lead IPMs, providing best-in-class execution of implementation activities and tasks in support of company's portfolio of products, and engaging with key personnel to restructure customer processes to better facilitate patient care through use of the company's products. You will continue Abbott’s 130+ year tradition of bringing new products and technologies to the world that create more possibilities for more people at all stages of life. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON Coordinate and execute on Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case. Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including updating Salesforce (Summit) with project notes and milestone dates, along with expense reporting, and other items as needed. Understands customer needs and builds relationships with key stakeholders within accounts and able to articulate the benefits of point-of-care testing. Demonstrate thorough understanding of key product attributes and product demonstrations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy or a related field of study; Associate’s degree is acceptable with additional experience and demonstrated competence. Self-starter that is motivated to roll up their sleeves and is motivated by both personal success and the success of the team. Strong customer service orientation with ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior. Superior communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to manage multiple assignments across geography. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; analytical and critical-thinking skills. Ability to prioritize; strong organizational and planning skills. Ability and aptitude to provide solutions and contingency plans through comprehensive review of alternatives. Ability to speak confidently in public and to present material to upper management. Strong Microsoft Office and CRM (Sales Force) skills Must be willing to travel 75% of the time, including overnight travel, by all means necessary in assigned territory and other locations in the US to support business needs. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of healthcare systems, specifically the Laboratory, Emergency Department, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Centers.
