Job Title: Implementation Support Specialist – Data Innovations Instrument Manager
Location: Remote / Travel (Pacific Time Zone preferred)
Job Type: Contract (1 year, with possible extension)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Support Specialist with strong expertise in Data Innovations Instrument Manager to support new implementations, upgrades, and integrations with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). This role requires hands-on technical knowledge of instrument connectivity, HL7/ASTM protocols, and collaboration with LIS vendors. The position is remote with occasional travel, and all travel expenses will be covered by the client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience working with Data Innovations Instrument Manager (must-have).
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 and ASTM interface protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with LIS vendor interfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Associate’s not accepted).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clinical laboratory experience.
  • Epic certification or direct LIS build experience.
  • Familiarity with Point of Care Testing (POCT) systems.
Responsibilities
  • Install, upgrade, and configure the Data Innovations Instrument Manager application.
  • Manage connection additions, license updates, and product implementations.
  • Support LIS vendor integrations and ensure seamless instrument connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot interface and connectivity issues related to Instrument Manager.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and provide implementation support.
  • Assist with Point of Care Testing (POCT) integrations where applicable.
  • Maintain system documentation and provide ongoing support as needed.
