Description
NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. As a key contributor to the Trade Compliance and Operations team, you will coordinate all aspects of customs, licensing, and global trade compliance. This role ensures that every import and export activity aligns with Indian regulatory frameworks (STPI, DGFT, Customs) and global trade laws, enabling detailed cross-border operations and audit-ready compliance. What you’ll be doing: Handle applications and approvals for duty-free imports, re-exports, inter-unit transfers, de-bonding of capital goods, and e-waste destruction with STPI and Customs authorities. Prepare and submit statutory filings such as Monthly Performance Report (MPR), Un-audited & Audited APR, Form-A, and Quarterly IGCRD within stipulated timelines. Handle GR waiver applications with banks, ensuring reconciliation and closure of outstanding cases. Ensure accurate and compliant customs paperwork - including invoices, packing lists, COO, airway bills, and declarations - for import/export transactions. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure smooth clearance and logistics coordination. Maintain bonded warehouse records, statutory registers, and audit-ready shipping documentation in GTS / ERP systems. Handle LOP issuance and renewal, Green Card, Capital Goods (CG) enhancements, Bond B-17, and ICGRD approvals. Determine SCOMET classification and import license requirements; coordinate with DGFT and government agencies to acquire license as well as provide detailed product categorization (HSN/ECCN) and mentorship on customs valuation to internal teams and brokers. Oversee self-analysis efforts for global trade operations, identifying areas of concern and implementing appropriate fixes. Assist with internal, external, and global trade audits, guaranteeing zero instances of non-compliance. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Operations to resolve compliance queries and strengthen trade control processes. Generate MIS reports and compliance dashboards for management and business units. What we need to see: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Commerce, International Business, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in Trade Compliance, Import/Export Operations, Customs Management or regulatory roles. Strong understanding of STPI/EOU schemes, DGFT licensing, Customs Valuation Rules, HSN classification, and GRI principles. Proficiency in SAP / GTS (Bonded Warehouse modules), MS Office, and reporting tools (BO / Power BI / Excel dashboards). Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical abilities. Strong focus on detail, ownership approach, and capability to excel in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Zero non-compliance or missed filing deadlines. Exact product classification and license assessment. Timely and smooth customs clearance for imports/exports. Consistent audit readiness and clear documentation. Your role will involve supervising the lawful global movement — securing efficient trade processes, mitigating risks, and ensuring the business remains audit-compliant. If you excel in navigating sophisticated compliance frameworks while maintaining detailed operations, this position is ideal for you!
