IMPORT COORDINATOR/MERCHANDISER
Essential Personnel are delighted to be working with a family-run and ever-growing company based in Stockport who are seeking a Import Coordinator/Merchandiser to join their team in a fully office-based role.
As an Import Coordinator/Merchandiser you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our global suppliers to our warehouse, while also playing a key part in the merchandising and product development process.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
· Proven experience in an import coordination or merchandising role, ideally within a retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
· Strong understanding of international shipping processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
· Proactive problem-solver with a strong initiative.
· Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:30 This is a fully office-based role.
