Description Point Global Logistics is seeking a full-time Import Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Cumming, GA. This on-site role supports import operations by coordinating shipments, managing customer relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of freight. Point Global Logistics is an aggressive, independent freight forwarder and logistics provider with a global network spanning 58 countries. Since 2014, we have expanded to 15 branch offices across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, South America, and Asia. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored logistics solutions through industry expertise and personalized service. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, tracking shipments, and ensuring smooth coordination of import air and ocean freight from origin to final destination. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, including customs brokers, to maintain compliance and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries regarding import orders, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from origin to final destination Assist with documentation preparation for customs clearance in coordination with licensed brokers Track and monitor shipments, providing proactive updates to customers Resolve service issues and support customer requests in a timely manner Maintain accurate shipment and customer records in internal systems Collaborate with internal departments to meet operational goals and deadlines Participate in training on company systems, processes, and best practices This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable law.
