Job Title: Import / Export Auxiliary Location:   SPI Santiago Working Model: On-site     GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:   Ensure the proper dispatch of all merchandise produced for the company’s export shipments, in alignment with production levels and established packaging requirements for outbound deliveries. Provide support in all activities related to the department, utilizing the tools and equipment assigned to the area.   RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  *  Scan orders and ensure their accurate assignment to the corresponding consolidation, as well as the timely closure of each consolidation as required * Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts and/or pallet jacks) to move and position pallets. * Ensure timely transfer of pallets to the dispatch area and proper loading onto assigned trucks and containers. * Verify that all pallets comply with established size and dimension standards. * Support daily shipping operations by assisting the Shipping Assistant as required. Specific tasks   • Receive, verify and scan loose Chenille/Apparel orders. • Assemble and strap the pallets. • Close the day's shipping system (Chenille and Apparel). • Verify that the pallets have the corresponding labels. • Assemble the shipping merchandise (Chenille and Apparel), in the truck/container. • Dispatch leather and boxes from the Warehouse. • Assist the import and export supervisor with express orders. • Utilize all assigned tools and equipment to support the efficient movement of materials. • Print Virtual Samples.   JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:  Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer), (ii) good verbal and written communication skills, (iii) good interpersonal skills, and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team, environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.
