The Import Export Logistics Manager will lead the NA import export team to deliver effective and compliant import and export shipping for the NA region adhering to all applicable requirements, internal, external, legal, regulatory, health, safety, and environmental Job Description Manage complex regulatory requirements for international shipments and escalations Drive and lead positive change and continuous improvement Lead the optimization of NA foreign trade operations and duty spend as well as monitoring geopolitical and trade shifts Management of supplier relationships (Global 4PL and Lead Customs Broker) through monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews with auditable tracking of actions and resolutions Overseeing import/export/FTZ processes ensuring compliance with trade regulations and handling compliance issues Ensure coordination with internal stakeholders: planning, trade compliance, finance, global logistics, production Support regional implementation of global initiatives by resourcing and networking with other departments to support successful outcomes Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or similar field, International Trade / Business and/or additional customs certification preferred 5+ years of Import/Export experience 3+ years of management experience International logistics experience with chemical industry preferred Strong knowledge of SAP and logistics management systems such as GTS and GTNexus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Fluency in English is essential, other languages are a plus Ability to work in a challenging and busy environment Additional Information What We Offer: A culture that celebrates belonging and collaboration, promotes professional development and strives for a work-life balance that supports the team members.
