Description
Manage end-to-end import and export operations for our manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and company policies. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with customs authorities, government agencies, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure materials and products are delivered efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance. The position also supports import/export planning, documentation control, customs reporting, and continuous improvement of trade compliance processes Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end import and export activities for raw materials, machinery, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods in compliance with Vietnamese customs regulations and company policies. * Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation, customs declarations, Certificates of Origin (C/O), licenses, permits, and other required trade documents. * Coordinate closely with Customs, Industrial Park authorities, government agencies, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance and shipment execution. * Monitor import and export plans to ensure shipments are executed accurately, on time, and aligned with production and customer delivery schedules. * Prepare and submit statutory reports to Customs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and other relevant authorities within required deadlines. * Ensure customs records, inventory records, and import/export reports are accurate and compliant, including reconciliation of discrepancies and tax-related reporting when required. * Stay up to date with import/export regulations, customs policies, and trade compliance requirements; communicate policy changes and provide guidance to internal teams and business partners. * Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to support material availability and ensure efficient supply chain operations. * Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize transportation plans, shipping costs, and delivery performance while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations. * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve import/export procedures, documentation standards, and compliance processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks. * Support internal audits, compliance activities, and cross-functional projects related to import/export operations and supply chain improvement. Education & Experience * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in Import-Export, Customs, Trade Compliance, or Logistics within a manufacturing environment. * Good knowledge of Vietnamese customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international trade documentation. * Experience working with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and government agencies. * Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel). * Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Chinese language capability is an advantage.
