For over 100 years, Lasko Products has been an industry leader in home environment products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import/Export Specialist to join our team at our West Chester, PA headquarters.
This position will work a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Wednesday, Thursday and Friday remote. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with import/export procedures and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot shipment issues.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and international shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data management systems; prior experience with QAD is a plus.
  • Ability to calculate weights, volumes, and currency conversions for global shipments.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with openness to learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Import/Export Specialist will manage international shipments from end to end—coordinating with customs agents, shipping partners, internal teams, and clients. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and smooth logistics across global operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and track international shipments, providing timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with customs agents and brokers to ensure clearance of overseas deliveries.
  • Prepare and process import/export documentation, carrier and route assignments, and international fee calculations.
  • Maintain shipment records, data accuracy, and compliance with government regulations.
  • Enter supplier invoices in QAD, create inventory receivers, and generate voucher packets for accounting.
