We’re looking for a new Import and Logistics Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Munich, Germany. The import & logistic planner – Westfalia Germany is responsible for managing the physical good flows – starting from grower (supplier) to the final delivery to the customer. Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain – Germany, working in a team with other logistics planners and a Demand & Supply plannings team. It combines the operational management of logistics functions with an optimization of the processes. The ideal candidate is accurate, has a deep knowledge of logistics and distribution principle and systems, is proactive in communication and enjoys to continuously improve the ways of working. Responsibilities include: Manage import documentation for overseas shipments, including packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, and phytosanitary certificates Enter overseas packing lists into the ERP system and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders Maintain accurate vessel arrival tracking and shipment records Support Quality Management by following up on supplier certifications and verifying GlobalG.A.P. (GGN) compliance Coordinate outbound distribution across Germany and selling countries, ensuring on-time deliveries to customers Consolidate and prioritise orders based on customer requirements, delivery windows, and fruit ripeness Ensure accurate and timely outbound documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, SOP development, and cross-functional collaboration Experience we look for: Proven experience in import documentation and logistic processes Proficiency in ERP systems, Transportation systems and Excel for managing packing lists, inventory, and ship tracking. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excell, Power BI). Fluency in English is essential; business-level German is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Affinity with the fresh produce sector What can Westfalia Fruit offer you?
